Disable Antivirus Software 2024. Turn off the "Real-time protection if off, leaving your device vulnerable" option. Under the "Virus & threat protection settings" section, click the Manage. Search for Windows Security and click the top result to open the app. Click on Virus & threat protection. Select the module labeled Protection Options. Click Update & Security -> Windows Security -> Virus & threat protection. Toggle the green slider to the left. In the left menu, click Security.

Turn off the "Real-time protection if off, leaving your device vulnerable" option. Press "Enter" or click the "Windows Security" shortcut to launch it. Your default antivirus application appears at the top of the Virus & threat protection screen. You can do this by clicking the gear icon in the Windows menu or by pressing the Windows key and the i key at the same time.
